Is FluxAI free?
The app is free to download and you get credits to start with, so you can generate something before deciding whether to pay. After that you can top up by watching a short ad, buy a credit pack, or subscribe. There is no trial countdown and no card required to try it.
Can I edit photos I already have, or only generate new ones?
Both. Add one or more reference photos and describe the change you want, and the app edits what you gave it rather than inventing something new. Leave the references out and it generates from your prompt alone.
Do the videos have sound?
Yes. Every video engine in the app renders its own audio track along with the picture, so a finished clip arrives with sound rather than needing one added afterwards.
How long is a generated video, and how long does it take?
Clips run from four to fifteen seconds depending on the engine, at up to 1080p. Rendering takes a few minutes and happens on our servers, so you can carry on using the app or close it entirely — the finished clip turns up in your Creations library when it is done.
What does training a custom model actually do?
You upload 6 to 30 photos of one subject — a person, a pet, a product — or of one visual style, and after about twenty minutes you have a model that knows it. From then on you can put that subject or style into any prompt you write.
Training runs in the background and the app notifies you when it finishes. The model is private to your account: it is never shared with other users or offered to anyone else.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 16 or later. Generation happens on our servers, so an internet connection is required, but the work is not limited by how old or new your device is.
Do I need to create an account?
You sign in with Apple, so there is no password to invent and no email address to hand over unless you choose to share one. The account is what holds your credit balance, your Creations library and any model you have trained.
What happens to my prompts and photos?
They are sent to our servers and on to the AI processing provider that runs your generation, because that is the only way the work can be done. The app asks for your permission before anything leaves your device the first time, and it will not generate if you decline.
Your uploads are never given to advertising or analytics services, and are not used to train our own models. The full details are in the privacy policy.
